Getting started
What is SlotCraft?
An ad network for independent websites and blogs of every topic. Advertisers pay to show short text ads; site owners place ad slots on their sites and earn 75% of what advertisers pay.
Can one account be both an advertiser and a site owner?
Yes. Every account can use both dashboards. Your own ads are never shown on your own slots.
How are ads matched to sites?
By tags. A campaign tagged “travel, food” only appears on slots that share at least one of those tags. More shared tags and higher bids win placement more often.
What do the ads look like?
Every size, shown live with real ads, is on the ad preview page.
For advertisers
Step 1 — Create a campaign
Open the Advertiser dashboard, fill in a name, headline, short body, link and target tags, then choose CPC or CPM pricing and your bid.
Step 2 — Fund it
Right after creating it, enter how much budget to add (minimum $10). A processing fee of 3.4% + $0.30 is added on top, plus any sales tax. Pay by card in the secure checkout.
Step 3 — Go live
Your campaign shows “awaiting payment” until the payment clears. Once it does, the full amount is added to its budget and it starts showing automatically. Some bank payment methods take a few days to clear.
What do CPC and CPM mean?
CPC: you pay your bid each time someone clicks your ad. CPM: you pay your bid for every 1,000 times your ad is shown. Repeat clicks on the same view are only charged once.
Can I add more money later?
Yes. Use “Add funds” on any campaign at any time. Each payment adds to that campaign’s budget.
What happens when the budget runs out?
The campaign stops showing and is marked “out of budget”. Add funds to resume.
Can I pause a campaign?
Yes. Pause and Resume stop and restart it without losing its remaining budget.
What if I delete a campaign with money left?
The unspent budget moves to your account credit. Use “Use credit” on any other campaign to apply it, without paying again.
Can I buy credit without picking a campaign?
Yes. “Buy account credit” adds funds you can apply to any campaign later.
Where can I see my payments?
The Payments list on the Advertiser dashboard shows each payment, its fee and whether it has cleared.
For site owners
Step 1 — Create an ad slot
Open the Site owner dashboard, name the slot, enter your site address, choose a size (300×250, 728×90 or 320×100) and add tags describing your content.
Step 2 — Paste the embed code
Copy the generated snippet and paste it into your site’s HTML where the ad should appear. No script is needed; it works on any blog or static site.
Step 3 — Earn
You earn 75% of what advertisers pay for every view (CPM) or click (CPC) on your slots. Earnings appear on your dashboard as they happen.
Why is my slot not showing ads?
No active, funded campaign shares your slot’s tags yet. Broader or more popular tags help.
Step 4 — Request a withdrawal
Once your eligible balance reaches $10, request a withdrawal by PayPal or bank transfer. Money already in a pending or approved request can’t be requested twice.
How do withdrawals progress?
Pending → Approved → Paid. You get a notification at each step with the time it happened. If a request is rejected you’ll see the reason, and the amount returns to your eligible balance.
